I have to say that I have fallen completely in love with the Womama collection! It all started with this birth wrap. It's like a dress that you can have your baby in. It sure beats a backless hospital gown and you can wear it to the hospital. Actually even with my young baby born I still wear it around. 5 Stars from me.

I'm newly pregnant with my second child and wish I'd had the Womama Birthing Wrap the first time around, as I think it's a gorgeous, innovative, original product that others may try to imitate, but will never be able to replicate. A friend recommended the Birthing Wrap to me after she bought one for her third pregnancy and ended up buying two more because she wore it all the time as a maternity dress and nursing dress after she gave birth. I bought one intending to save it for my child's birth, but once I had it in my hands I decided it looked too comfortable and felt too nice to wait that long. Now I wear it as a "little black dress" and absolutely love it.The organic cotton is super-soft and smooth, and feels divine against my skin. The wraparound skirt section is generously sized, so you have enough fabric to wrap around your bump without any uncomfortable, unsightly gaping bits at the side or awkward folds bisecting your stomach. The crossover top section has enough fabric to cover a big bosom (I'm a 36G and I don't get inappropriate cleavage with the Birthing Wrap, thank goodness). The shoulder seams sit at just the right spot, and the cap sleeves are just loose enough, but still have a lovely shape. I really like that the sleeves have a little tiny bit of a "puff" to them as it dresses the Birthing Wrap up just that perfect amount!The length is good -- it hits just above my knees (I'm 5'7") and looks great with tights underneath, but it's not so short that I couldn't wear it as a summer dress. My friend uses it as a nursing/breastfeeding dress because it's easy to undo the ties (which are nice and long) for feeding access, but still stay covered-up for a bit of privacy. She also wore it for her third child's birth and reported that it was a huge improvement on her husband's old, ratty T-shirt that she wore for her first two labours. "It made me feel like a woman instead of like a panting, sweating beast!" she told me afterward. I couldn't say it better myself! I love the Womama brand and am so glad I discovered their nursing bras and especially the Birthing Wrap. I highly recommend this product, and give it five stars.

Bought one of these organic birthing wraps with the intention of just wearing it during the birth of my son Sammy. I got it weeks before he came so I just started to wear it around because I thought it was so cool. Sure enough I wore it during the birth because I didnt want to wear one of those hospital gowns. Not that I am a glamorous person, but I wanted something that was my own and smelt like me when they handed me the baby. Now here I am 3 months later and funny enough I still wear this very very often. It is easy to feed in, comfortable and organic.
