This boot is for people with smaller calves. It allows you to adjust the size of the top depending if you want it looser, like if you wearing jeans tucked in or tighter it you're just wearing leggings. And the foot doesn't look as long in real life. Just an all over great boot.

Got them in brown for Christmas, and knew right away I had to have the black! They're super comfortable and lightweight. The only thing to really check before you order is your calf size... there is a definite taper behind the buckle that doesn't stretch much even if you loosen the buckle. My calves are about 12-in. around, and the boots fit great, but there's not more than an inch or 2 of stretch where that buckle sits.

For the price, I didnt expect much quality for this pair. It is decent looking- may be better if you keep it clean and polished. I have very slender calves and still they looked good. Perfect for a weekend shopping in cold weather. I bought an 8.5 thinking it might run small, but they are true to size and my feet have a lot of space to move around. I think I will fix that issue by wearing thicker socks. All in all, nice for the price.UPDATE: Last week, I put these shoes on for a visit to the zoo. The pair was UNBELIEVABLY comfortable. We were walking from about 12 noon to 5PM and I never felt a thing! At the end of the visit my husband was complaining of aching feet. Not me. In fact I was so comfortable, I wanted to go shopping for a thing or two after we returned. As I said before, I bought an 8.5 instead of my regular 8 and my feet were able to move around a bit. May be that's the reason they were super comfy. Can't emphasize enough.
