I chose the brown ones - not sure if the black ones differ at all, but I LOVE the brown ones! After trying these boots on, I didn't try on another pair (and I've done a lot of boot shopping). These boots are SO comfortable, I didn't even want to take them off to put my own well-broken in shoes back on! They're made of such soft flexible leather - they move with you - no stiffness at all; even when you crouch down, the top doesn't fold down into your foot like most new boots do. It literally felt like these boots had been broken in by my own feet for years before I put them on. Maybe they were just a perfect fit for me, but I can't imagine such a nice flexible boot feeling any less comfortable for anyone else!(review by Kyle's wife)

I've been wearing western boots for many years and this Durango boot is the most comfortable I've owned. I wore my last pair for at least 10 years and was very happy to find they continue to make this style number.

I was skeptical buying footwear on line but I needed a pair of boots for horse back riding so i thought I'd give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised, they slipped right on, fit perfectly and were so comfortable I didn't want to take them off. I would highly recommend this boot.
