Very light and comfortable, but width is not adjustable - the front velcro is purely cosmetic and sits over a solid loop.

I love the style and versatility of these shoes for my active 7 year-old daughter. She loves their comfort and esase of putting them on. We have only had them a few weeks, and I can't speak to quality yet, but so far so good!

I've bought three pairs of these sandals over three years for my kid, now 10, to wear as sneaker substitutes from late Spring to early Fall. She's very active, and the sports sandals stay on her feet no matter how she runs, scrambles up climbing walls, swims/canoes in the river, etc. They wear well (she grows out of them first). The toe protection is very useful - I wish they made them for adults. They are less stinky than Keanes, which do not dry quickly or well.
